The Winter est sans aucun doute un album intéressant de No Point in Living — déjà ne serait-ce que par cette superbe pochette de la solitude urbaine enneigée. La première moitié s'articule autour du piano dont les notes servent à créer de maudites ritournelles. Le DSBM de Yu y est du coup mélodique, encore plus sur "Cold Wind". Peu à peu, le piano s'efface et nous voyageons en plein cœur de l'hiver. N'attendez pas de l'espoir à l'issue de "Last Day of Winter" : la conclusion est irrespirable.
